Four RBI Day For Blayne Maurer Leads 14U Past Northern Ohio Hurricanes!

Blayne Maurer was bad news for opposing pitchers on Saturday, driving in four on three hits to lead The Stark County Terriers 14U past the Northern Ohio Hurricanes 11-2 on Saturday. Maurer drove in runs on a double in the second and a triple in the fifth.

The Terriers got things started in the first inning. Grant Young drew a walk, scoring two runs

Stark County tallied four runs in the fifth inning. Jackson Lurie and Maurer all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Beau Battershell led things off on the pitcher's mound for the Terriers. He went two innings, allowing one run on zero hits and striking out three.

Humble led things off on the mound for the Hurricanes. He lasted one inning, allowing two hits and five runs. Fitz and Singer entered the game from the bullpen, throwing three innings and one inning respectively.

The Terriers tallied ten hits. Maurer and Tony Wood each racked up multiple hits for the team. Maurer led with three hits in four at bats.

Minozora went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Northern Ohio in hits.

The Hurricanes was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Minozora made the most plays with five.
