Footwork was average as improvement is need on taking momentum through the plate and at target on throws. Did a solid job receiving and ball to hand transfer was quick. Threw 70 mph down to second base. Pop times ranged from 2.06-2.14 seconds. Has an athletic look to him in the box from the right side. Goes with a small leg kick for timing as hands travel slightly back to launch. Loadings sequence creates energy and he does a nice job of staying balanced throughout swing. BIOGRAPHY: The 5-foot-11, 175-pound left handed pitcher in the 2019 class. Very impressive outing with some impressive offerings. Delivery requires more than moderate effort. Fastball comes out well and maintains life through the zone at 83-85 mph. Curveball has gradual 1/7 break at 70-72 mph. Slider is better of the breaking offerings at 75-77 mph with sharp 2/7 shape and depth. With the development of advanced feel will be a very good pitch with swing and miss potential.  Changeup has arm side fade at 78-79 mph. Legit mix of secondary pitches offerings with the slider being the best and changeup very playable.

BIOGRAPHY: 5-foot-8, 140 pound athletic infielder showed good tools defensively. His glovework was very good and get got rid of it quickly once fielded. He recorded a 71 mph throwing velocity across the diamond with throws coming in on a line. Mongiardo’s had plus footwork working good angles getting to the ball smoothly. While hitting he swing with an uphill path and a longer swing with his bat lagging some into the zone. He can improve his fluidity throughout his swing as his bat seemed to be forced rather than letting it whip through the ball. Showed good strength with an 80 mph exit velocity by sending plenty of ball through the middle hard. Smaller build but exerts great effort.

Table setter bat that worked the entire field. Downhill path causes path issues at times/would be aided by a more level path. Middle infielder that move slight on his feet. Quiet actions prior to receiving the ball in the middle of body. Can plays from heels at times. Soft hands with ball skills on par for class. Second baseman type. Two-way prospect. On the mound the right-hander works with good tempo to a delivery that requires little effort. Drop and drive type guy that lands on line at foot strike before finishing to the first baseline. Long, clean arm action with average speed for class. Quick arm. Fastball comes through a high-¾ slot sitting 77-82 mph. Fastball has heavy arm side action. Breaking ball shows gradual action on an 11/5 plane at 66-68 mph. Also showed a changeup with slight fade to it 69-70 mph.  Interesting arm to follow.

BIOGRAPHY: Strong, athletic frame.  Starts squared on the rubber. Small rocker step into regular lift. Delivery has some effort to it. Fastball shows occasional arm side run at 80-83 mph. Breaking ball has big 12/6 break. Consistently in the zone and throws it with confidence at 65-66 mph. Changeup showed some arm side fade at 67-68 mph. Showed the ability to throw it with near fastball arm speed. At third base he exerted solid intent behind each action performed. His hands were soft and comes through the ball well while getting rid of it quickly. Throwing velocity was 78 mph across the diamond. A righty swinger that starts in a balanced setup. Loading sequence is fluid, incorporating a back load with hands during leg kick timing trigger. Barrel gets through the zone quickly showing more strength than speed to his hands at this stage. Generated impressive pop and consistent backspin to the middle of the field. A gap to gap type with more in there as batspeed catches up to strength. Tools at the plate translate to the next level.

Quick, efficient footwork allows Miller to get in a good power position accompanied by a swift transfer leading to a 1.93-2.03 pop time. In the OF, he showed above average arm strength with an 88 mph throwing velocity. Feet moved well getting around the ball and fielding off to his side showing a good glove. Recorded one of the higher exit velos at 91 mph. That power transferred into his live-rounds. Takes an uphill path that makes good contact and generates good energy with his lower half.
