BIOGRAPHY: 6-foot-6, 220-pound right-handed pitcher. Throws through high ¾ arm slot with long, loose arm action. Delivery requires regular effort. Fastball shows occasional run at 85-86 mph. Uses a 66 mph slurvy type breaking ball with late 11/5 break. Also shows feel for a 73-74 mph slider. His changeup sits at 75 mph and is thrown near fastball arm speed. Defensively, he moves well around the bag and shows good receiving skills with his large frame and reach. At the plate shows power with his size.
