Big Fourth Inning Propels Terriers Collegiate To Victory Over Dugout Baseball In Nightcap!

Five runs in the fourth inning led the Stark County Terriers past Dugout Baseball 8-2 on Saturday in game 2 of a doubleheader. Austin Cummings, Evan Swan, Ben Lefebvre, and Davis Burick all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.


Dugout Baseball got things moving in the first inning. They scored one run when Seth Freeman singled.


The Terriers pulled away for good with five runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth, Cummings tripled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run, Swan singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run, Lefebvre singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run, and Burick doubled on a 3-1 count, scoring two runs.


Yassir Kahook toed the rubber for Stark Count. The righty surrendered two runs on three hits over three innings, striking out three and walking zero.


Johnathan Cook was on the hill for Dugout Baseball. The pitcher went four innings, allowing five runs on eight hits and striking out four. Andy Heintz threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen.


The Terriers racked up ten hits on the day. Burick and Lefebvre each had multiple hits. Burick went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead the Terriers in hits.


Dugout Baseball racked up seven hits. Dominick Prevesk and Freeman managed multiple hits. Dugout Baseball was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Charlie Stachnik had the most chances in the field with six.
