Stark County Terriers 18O outsted NMC Baseball - Collegiate 6-1 on Monday at North Royalton High School.


Stark County Terriers 18O got on the board in the top of the first inning after John Simecek hit a sacrifice fly, Chase Dennison singled to left field, Ryan Bruni was struck by a pitch, and Alex Ramon walked, each scoring one run.


A sacrifice fly by Aaron Tucker extended the Stark County Terriers 18O lead to 5-0 in the top of the second inning.


Ty Dennison began the game for Stark County Terriers 18O. The pitcher gave up two hits and zero runs over three and one-third innings, striking out six and walking none. #10 led things off on the bump for NMC Baseball - Collegiate. The starter gave up four hits and six runs over three and one-third innings, striking out three and walking seven. Dylan Rauss threw one inning of scoreless ball for Stark County Terriers 18O in relief. The pitcher surrendered two hits, striking out one and walking none.


Jackson Cavanaugh led Stark County Terriers 18O with two hits in three at bats from the leadoff position. Tucker, Ramon, Bruni, and Simecek each drove in one run for Stark County Terriers 18O. Stark County Terriers 18O worked the count all day, amassing eight walks.


#22 went 2-for-3 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in. NMC Baseball - Collegiate turned one double play in the game.
