Caleb Collins Has Lots Of Hits But Stark County Terriers College Team Falls To T3 Warhawks Collegiate 18O

Caleb Collins collected three hits in four at bats, but Stark County Terriers 18O lost to T3 Warhawks Collegiate 18O 12-7 on Sunday at Northwest High School. Collins singled in the third inning, singled in the fourth inning, and singled in the first inning.


A wild pitch put Stark County Terriers 18O on the board in the bottom of the first.


T3 Warhawks Collegiate 18O took the lead, 4-1, in the top of the second thanks to singles by Michael Andryszczyk, and Nathan Prunty.


T3 Warhawks Collegiate 18O scored one run in the top of the third on a solo home run to right field by Hayden Boebel.


Stark County Terriers 18O tied the game up in the bottom of the third thanks to three singles. Stark County Terriers 18O tied the game at five on a single by Parker Varney.


Stark County Terriers 18O took the lead in the bottom of the fourth. Collins singled, scoring one run, to give Stark County Terriers 18O the edge, 6-5.


T3 Warhawks Collegiate 18O took the lead in the top of the fifth inning after Calvin Cackowski singled, and Hansen Huth doubled, each scoring one run.


Seth Yacobucci hit a sacrifice fly, which helped Stark County Terriers 18O tie the game at seven in the bottom of the sixth.


T3 Warhawks Collegiate 18O flipped the game on its head in the top of the eighth, scoring five runs on five hits to take a 12-7 lead. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Andrew Dagostino that drove in two.


Aidan DeBolt earned the win for T3 Warhawks Collegiate 18O. The right-handed pitcher allowed seven hits and two runs over five innings, striking out three and walking one. Jaylen Leedy took the loss for Stark County Terriers 18O. They went two and two-thirds innings, surrendering five runs on five hits, striking out two and walking two. Griffin Ailes started on the bump for Stark County Terriers 18O. They gave up five hits and five runs over four innings, striking out six and walking one. Landin Wescot stepped on the mound first for T3 Warhawks Collegiate 18O. They allowed six hits and five runs over three innings, striking out two and walking two.


Stark County Terriers 18O tallied 13 hits in the game. Varney and Collins each drove in two runs for Stark County Terriers 18O. Yacobucci collected two hits for Stark County Terriers 18O in three at bats. Stark County Terriers 18O ran wild on the base paths, collecting five stolen bases for the game.


T3 Warhawks Collegiate 18O amassed 13 hits in the game. Jared Carpenter, Boebel, Huth, and Prunty each collected two hits for T3 Warhawks Collegiate 18O. Prunty went 2-for-4 at the plate as they led the team with three runs batted in. T3 Warhawks Collegiate 18O turned two double plays in the game. T3 Warhawks Collegiate 18O were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Colin DeBolt made the most plays with eight.
