College Terriers Claim Lead In Eighth Inning To Defeat Premier Ohio!

The Collegiate Terriers stole the lead late in the game in a 12-6 victory over Premier Ohio on Saturday. The game was tied at six with the Terriers batting in the top of the eighth when Seth Blankenship's sac fly scored one run for Stark County.


The Terriers earned the victory despite allowing Premier Ohio to score five runs in the fifth inning. The Premier Ohio big bats were led by Jake Williams, Michael Williams, and Yadiel Sanchez, all driving in runs in the inning.


Stark County opened up scoring in the first inning, when Christian Julius drew a walk, scoring one run.


In the top of the seventh inning, the Terriers tied things up at six. Jordan Hite was hit by a pitch, driving in a run.


Aaron George was on the pitcher's mound for Stark County. He surrendered one run on one hit over four innings.


Jonathon Ambro was on the mound for Premier Ohio. He lasted two-thirds of an inning, allowing one hit and four runs while striking out one.


The Terriers scattered seven hits in the game. Ben LeFebvre and Seth Shroeder each collected multiple hits. Shroeder and LeFebvre each collected two hits to lead the team.


Williams led Premier Ohio with two hits in two at bats.
