Stark County Terriers 18O lost to Force Ohio 4-3 on Sunday at Walsh University.
A single by John Toth put Stark County Terriers 18O on the board in the bottom of the first.
Stark County Terriers 18O added one run in the third after Josh Dezenzo grounded out.
Force Ohio took the lead in the top of the fourth inning after Ellis walked, Hunter Black singled down the left field line, and , each scoring one run.
Xander Gendics earned the win for Force Ohio. The starting pitcher gave up seven hits and three runs over seven innings, striking out five and walking five. Brandon Bechtold took the loss for Stark County Terriers 18O. The hurler went two innings, giving up three runs on three hits, striking out two and walking four. Garret Odey led things off on the mound for Stark County Terriers 18O. The right-handed pitcher gave up one hit and zero runs over three innings, striking out five and walking one.
Dezenzo and Kaiden Mastri were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in one run for Stark County Terriers 18O. Leadoff hitter Braden Broom led Stark County Terriers 18O with two hits in four at bats. Stark County Terriers 18O turned one double play in the game.
