College Terriers Survive Comeback By Premier Ohio, Win 7-5

Stark County Terriers 18O built a 6-run lead in the fifth inning and then held off Premier Ohio Collegiate 2026 18O's charge for a 7-5 victory on Sunday. Premier Ohio Collegiate 2026 18O scored four runs on a grand slam in the fifth inning.
Stark County Terriers 18O got on the board in the top of the first inning after Aaron Tucker hit a sacrifice fly, and Chase Dennison singled to left field, each scoring one run.
Stark County Terriers 18O scored five runs on four hits in the top of the fifth inning. Jackson Cavanaugh singled, scoring two runs, an error scored one run, Daniel Krabill hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, and Dennison singled, scoring one run.
Michael Steingass hit a grand slam to left field in the bottom of the fifth for the Premier Ohio Collegiate 2026 18O.
Kael Poland earned the win for Stark County Terriers 18O. The hurler surrendered two hits and one run over three innings, striking out two and walking two. Nick Mealey took the loss for Premier Ohio Collegiate 2026 18O. The starter went four innings, surrendering zero runs on one hit, striking out seven and walking none. Logan Schnell and Dennison each appeared in relief for Stark County Terriers 18O.
Dennison led Stark County Terriers 18O with two runs batted in. The center fielder went 2-for-3 on the day.
Steingass led Premier Ohio Collegiate 2026 18O with four runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 1-for-1 on the day. Steingass, Michael Samano, Quinn Marquis, Keller, Friedman, PlayerM, and PlayerL each collected one hit for Premier Ohio Collegiate 2026 18O.
Stark County Terriers 18O play at home on Wednesday against Mountaineer Lumber Company 18O in their next game.
