Stark County Terriers 18O easily dispatched B2 Bulls on Sunday at Perry High School, 7-0.
Stark County Terriers 18O were the first to get on the board in the first when John Simecek singled, scoring one run.
Stark County Terriers 18O added three more runs in the top of the sixth inning on two hits. An error scored one run, and Nathan Grega homered to right field, scoring two runs.
Griffin Ailes earned the win for Stark County Terriers 18O. The right-handed pitcher allowed three hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out two and walking none. Zach Sullivan took the loss for B2 Bulls. The starting pitcher went four innings, surrendering four runs on six hits, striking out four and walking six. Cadyn Smith, Christian Harris, and Jacob Lowery each came on in relief for Stark County Terriers 18O and shutdown B2 Bulls.
Grega provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Stark County Terriers 18O with two runs batted in. The left-handed hitter went 2-for-3 on the day. Mason Stoldt paced Stark County Terriers 18O with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, amassing six walks for the game. Stark County Terriers 18O ran wild on the base paths, collecting five stolen bases for the game. Stark County Terriers 18O turned one double play in the game.
Shane Rothlisberger and Devon Morris were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for B2 Bulls while hitting back-to-back.
