College Terriers Take Lead And Never Look Back In Win Over Canton A's In Game 1 Of The 2026 NABF World Series

Stark County Terriers 18O easily dispatched Canton A's NABF 18O on Thursday at Thurman Munson #1, 13-5.


Canton A's NABF 18O got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Diddy Farrell doubled down the left field line, and Stark County Terriers 18O committed an error, each scoring one run.


Stark County Terriers 18O flipped the game on its head in the top of the third, scoring five runs on three hits to take the lead, 6-2. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Luke Senften that drove in two.


Chris Mauer pitched three and two-thirds innings in relief for Stark County Terriers 18O. The righty allowed three hits and three runs while, striking out six and walking three. Garret Odey started on the mound for Stark County Terriers 18O. The hurler surrendered five hits and two runs over three and one-third innings, striking out five and walking none. Tate Aljancic stepped on the hill first for Canton A's NABF 18O. The pitcher gave up two hits and five runs over two and one-third innings, striking out one and walking two.


Stark County Terriers 18O amassed 10 hits in the game. Kaiden Mastri and John Simecek were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for Stark County Terriers 18O while hitting back-to-back. Mastri provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Stark County Terriers 18O with three runs batted in. The left-handed hitter went 2-for-5 on the day. Stark County Terriers 18O had a strong eye at the plate, piling up nine walks for the game. Senften and Trevor Szekely led the team with two bases on balls each.


Brady White, Canton A's NABF 18O's number nine hitter, led the team with two hits in three at-bats. Anthony Bartiromo went 1-for-3 at the plate and led the team with three runs batted in. Canton A's NABF 18O turned one double play in the game. Canton A's NABF 18O were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Farrell had the most chances in the field with seven.
