Collegiate Team Outdone By Golden Spikes, 7-3.

The Collegiate Terriers got things moving in the first inning when Seth Schroeder grounded out, scoring one run.


The Golden Spikes knotted the game up at three in the bottom of the first inning. An error scored one run for the Spikes.


The Spikes pulled away for good with four runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth, Charles Winans singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run, Donald Watters was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, and Kyle Karchefsky singled on a 0-2 count, scoring two runs.


#25 got the win for the Golden Spikes. He went six and two-third of an inning, allowing no runs on two hits and striking out nine. Josh Ferry started for the Spikes but was pulled after one-third of an inning after walking 6 Terriers and giving up 3 runs.


Seth Blankenship was on the hill for the Terriers. He lasted three innings, allowing three hits and seven runs while striking out two. Rylee Wallace threw three innings in relief.


Jordan Cavanaugh and Collin Hohman all had one hit to lead the Terriers.


Winans went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead the Golden Spikes in hits. The Spikes was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Tommy Murphy had the most chances in the field with ten.
