Early Lead For Premier Ohio Seals Fate For Collegiate Terriers.

The Stark County Terriers fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 3-0 loss to Premier Ohio on Sunday. Premier Ohio took the lead on a double in the first inning.


The pitching was strong on both sides. Premier Ohio pitchers struck out four, while Stark County Terriers sat down six.


Premier Ohio got things started in the first inning when Phillip Stauffer doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.


A double by Jack Mathey in the sixth inning was a positive for Stark County Terriers.


Jonathan Ambro led the Premier Ohio to victory on the mound. The fireballer surrendered zero runs on zero hits over two innings, walking one.


Logan Jones took the loss for Stark County Terriers. The righthander went four innings, allowing three runs on five hits and striking out five.


Mathey, Breydan Cavey, and Austin Cummings each managed one hit to lead Stark County Terriers 18O. Stark County Terriers was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Zach Hawkins had the most chances in the field with nine.


Stauffer went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Premier Ohio in hits.
