Five RBI Day For Breydan Cavey Leads The Collegiate Terriers Past the BC Killer Bees!

Breydan Cavey came the ballpark and meant business on Friday, driving in five on two hits to lead the Stark County Terriers past the BC Killer Bees 11-5 on Friday. Cavey drove in runs on a home run in the third, a walk in the fourth, and a home run in the sixth.


Stark County earned the victory despite allowing the Killer Bees to score four runs in the fifth inning. The offensive firepower by the Bees was led by C Tolson, B Price, and Kolby Mason, all driving in runs in the inning.


the Terriers fired up the offense in the second inning. Andrew Micole singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.


Stark County scored four runs in the third inning. Cavey and Carson Nicodemo all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.


Spencer Atkins was credited with the victory for the Terriers. The righty allowed three hits and one run over four innings, striking out two. Logan Jones threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen.


Ryan Barmes took the loss for the Killer Bees. He lasted three innings, allowing eight hits and six runs while striking out two.


Stark County tallied three home runs on the day. Cavey went yard in the third and sixth innings. Nicodemo went deep in the third inning.


The Terriers tallied 14 hits in the game. Ben Lefebvre, Micole, Nicodemo, and Cavey each collected multiple hits for the team. Lefebvre led with three hits in five at bats.


Will Mueller went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead the BC Killer Bees in hits. The Bees were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Matt Reynolds had the most chances in the field with four.
