Kaiden Mastri Drives In Four As College Terriers Lose To The Mountaineer Lumber Company

Kaiden Mastri drove in four on one hit, but Stark County Terriers 18O fell to Mountaineer Lumber Company 18O 11-6 on Saturday at Walsh University.


Stark County Terriers 18O were the first to get on the board in the fourth when a wild pitch scored one run.


Mountaineer Lumber Company 18O flipped the game on its head in the top of the fifth, scoring seven runs on five hits to take the lead, 7-1. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Mitchner on an 0-2 count that drove in two.


Peffer earned the win for Mountaineer Lumber Company 18O. The starter allowed four hits and six runs over seven innings, striking out 10 and walking three. Hunter Langenfeld took the loss for Stark County Terriers 18O. The reliever went three and one-third innings, giving up 11 runs (nine earned) on seven hits, striking out one and walking one. Drew Becker stepped on the bump first for Stark County Terriers 18O. The starting pitcher surrendered zero hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out six and walking one.


Nolan Kellicker went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Stark County Terriers 18O in hits.


Taiger drove the middle of the lineup, leading Mountaineer Lumber Company 18O with five runs batted in. The outfielder went 2-for-4 on the day.
