Mash Factory Baseball Club Runs Away With Early Lead In Victory over 14U.

The Stark County Terriers 14U watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 3-0 loss to Mash Factory Baseball Club on Friday.

Mash Factory took the lead on an error in the first inning.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Mash Factory Baseball Club pitchers struck out two, while Stark County sat down two.

Mash Factory got things moving in the first inning. An error scored one run for Mash Factory.

One bright spot for the Terriers was a single by Zack Stokoe in the second inning.

#13 toed the rubber for Mash Factory. He lasted five innings, allowing three hits and zero runs while striking out two.

Grant Young was on the mound for Stark County. He allowed two hits and two runs over four innings, striking out one and walking zero. Jackson Lurie threw one-third of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Stokoe led the Terriers with two hits in two at bats.
