Premier Ohio Bests College Terriers In Close Game

Both teams were strong on the mound on Sunday, but Premier Ohio was just a little bit stronger at the plate in a victory over the Stark County Terriers. Drew Becker started the game for Stark County and recorded 15 outs.


One bright spot for the Terriers was a single by Mason Stoldt in the third inning.


Jeff Romano toed the rubber for Premier Ohio. The bulldog went three innings, allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out three and walking zero.


Becker was on the pitcher's mound for the Terriers. He allowed four hits and one run over five innings, striking out six and walking one. Christian Harris threw one inning out of the bullpen.


Stoldt led Stark County with three hits in three at bats. The Terriers were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Nathan Grega made the most plays with seven.


Premier Ohio scattered seven hits in the game. Alex Casper and Ty Stolarski each collected multiple hits for Premier Ohio. Premier Ohio was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Mitchel Szymczak had the most chances in the field with 11.
