Sabatine Shuts Out Lorain County Ironmen, Terriers Take The Win

Gino Sabatine didn't allow a single run as the Stark County Terriers Collegiate Team defeated the Lorain County Ironmen 10-0 on Saturday. Sabatine allowed just two hits.


The Terriers opened up scoring in the first inning. They scored one run when Jarod Brown doubled.


One bright spot for Lorain County was a single by Daniel Heiser in the fourth inning.


Sabatine was credited with the victory for Stark County. He went six innings, allowing zero runs on two hits, striking out 13 and walking one.


Anthony Ward took the loss for Lorain County. He lasted two innings, allowing five hits and seven runs while striking out five.

The Terriers smacked one home run on the day. Christian Julius went yard in the third inning.


Stark County totaled ten hits. Collin Hohman, Julius, and Brown all managed multiple hits for the Terriers. Brown, Julius, and Hohman each managed two hits. The Terriers were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Hohman made the most plays with 13.
