Stark County Terriers 18O were triumphant over Premier Ohio 4-3 on Thursday at Thurman Munson Memorial Stadium.
Stark County Terriers 18O opened the scoring in the first after Nathan Grega singled, scoring one run.
Kaiden Mastri hit a solo home run to right field in the bottom of the second for the Stark County Terriers 18O.
Premier Ohio tied the game in the top of the fourth thanks to an error, and a single by Drew Harvey.
Stark County Terriers 18O took the lead in the bottom of the fourth. Grega hit a solo home run to right field, to give Stark County Terriers 18O the upper hand, 3-2.
Brennan McCune earned the win for Stark County Terriers 18O. They allowed two hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out six and walking none. Nick Zarbo took the loss for Premier Ohio. The starting pitcher went four innings, surrendering three runs on four hits, striking out four and walking one. Mason Bille collected the save. Christian Harris and Logan Poole each appeared in relief for Stark County Terriers 18O.
Grega drove the middle of the lineup, leading Stark County Terriers 18O with two runs batted in. They went 2-for-3 on the day. Mastri and Grega each collected two hits for Stark County Terriers 18O.
Jeremy Patchett, Harvey, Jack Amis, Brady Maciak, Reid Fleming, and Jay Hanzie each collected one hit for Premier Ohio. Harvey, Fleming, and Hanzie each drove in one run for Premier Ohio. Premier Ohio were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Chris Bach had the most chances in the field with seven.
