Stark County Terriers College Team Secures Win Against T3 Warhawks Collegiate 18O In Game 1

Stark County Terriers 18O took down T3 Warhawks Collegiate 18O 4-0 on Sunday at The Pipe Yard.

Stark County Terriers 18O got on the board in the top of the first inning after Ty Sowers singled, scoring one run, and Parker Varney tripled, scoring three runs.

Carter McFarland earned the win for Stark County Terriers 18O. The starting pitcher gave up one hit and zero runs over four innings, striking out two and walking one. Melendez took the loss for T3 Warhawks Collegiate 18O. The starting pitcher went two innings, allowing four runs on three hits, striking out one and walking one. Logan Poole collected the save. Griffin Ailes threw two innings of no-run ball for Stark County Terriers 18O in relief. The reliever surrendered zero hits, striking out two and walking three.

Varney, the number seven hitter for Stark County Terriers 18O, led the way with three runs batted in. The infielder went 1-for-3 on the day. Sowers, Nolan Kellicker, Varney, Seth Yacobucci, Benjamin Hymes, and Luke Senften each collected one hit for Stark County Terriers 18O. Stark County Terriers 18O turned two double plays in the game.

Daniel Hall went 1-for-2 at the plate to lead T3 Warhawks Collegiate 18O in hits. Jared Carpenter paced T3 Warhawks Collegiate 18O with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, collecting six walks for the game.
