Strong Hitting Not Enough As College Terriers Fall To B2 Bulls in Game 2

Stark County Terriers 18O fell 4-3 to B2 Bulls Collegiate 18O on Saturday at Walsh University despite out-hitting them nine to six. Caleb Collins and Josh Dezenzo each collected two hits for Stark County Terriers 18O.
B2 Bulls Collegiate 18O got on the board in the top of the third inning after James LaVigne hit a sacrifice fly, and Tommy Vokic walked, each scoring one run.
Stark County Terriers 18O jumped back into the lead in the bottom of the third inning after Dezenzo doubled down the left field line, Parker Varney singled, and Brayden Fellouzis singled to left field, each scoring one run.
B2 Bulls Collegiate 18O took the lead in the top of the fourth. Devon Moris tripled, scoring two runs, to give B2 Bulls Collegiate 18O the advantage, 4-3.
Paul Medina earned the win for B2 Bulls Collegiate 18O. The pitcher surrendered seven hits and three runs over five innings, striking out one and walking two. Ty Dennison led things off on the bump for Stark County Terriers 18O. The righty gave up two hits and two runs over three innings, striking out five and walking five.
Stark County Terriers 18O tallied nine hits in the game. Varney, Fellouzis, and Dezenzo each drove in one run for Stark County Terriers 18O.
Moris drove the middle of the lineup, leading B2 Bulls Collegiate 18O with two runs batted in. The 3-hole hitter went 2-for-2 on the day. B2 Bulls Collegiate 18O had patience at the plate, collecting 10 walks for the game. Nicholas Square, Jeremiah Atwell, and Moris led the team with two walks each. Moris stole three bases.
