Terriers Clinch Lead In Sixth Inning To Defeat B2 Bulls

The Stark County Terriers snatched the lead late in the game in a 7-3 victory in game one of a double header over the B2 Bulls on Saturday. The game was tied at three with the Terriers batting in the bottom of the sixth when Parker Varney singled on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs.


In the bottom of the fifth inning, Stark County tied things up at three when Ty Williams grounded out, scoring one run.


Jacob Rollyson was the winning pitcher for the Terriers. The righthander surrendered zero runs on two hits over three and two-thirds innings, striking out four.


Cameron Chappell took the loss for the Bulls. The bulldog lasted one and one-third innings, allowing four hits and four runs while striking out two and walking one.


Wyatt Fuduric started the game for the B2 Bulls. He lasted four and two-thirds innings, allowing three hits and three runs while striking out eight. Anthony Warner started the game for the Terriers. The righty allowed three hits and three runs over three and a third innings, striking out five.


Nolan Kellicker led Stark County with two hits in three at bats. The Terriers were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Nathan Grega made the most plays with 12.


Colin Russ went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead the Bulls in hits.
