Terriers College Team Loses Game 2 Despite Out Hitting T3 Warhawks

Even though Stark County Terriers 18O collected eight hits to T3 Warhawks's two, they still fell 5-4 on Sunday at The Pipe Yard. Josh Dezenzo led Stark County Terriers 18O with three hits.
Dezenzo collected three hits in three at bats in the loss. Dezenzo singled in the first inning, doubled in the fourth inning, and singled in the sixth inning.
Stark County Terriers 18O got on the board in the first inning after Dezenzo singled, scoring two runs.
A grand slam to right field by Daniel Tome gave T3 Warhawks the lead, 5-4, in the bottom of the fifth.
Zach Barnes earned the win for T3 Warhawks. The righty gave up eight hits and four runs (two earned) over seven innings, striking out six and walking two. Hunter Langenfeld took the loss for Stark County Terriers 18O. The lefty went one inning, surrendering four runs on one hit, striking out two and walking four. Dylan Rouse started on the hill for Stark County Terriers 18O. The right-handed pitcher allowed one hit and one run over three and two-thirds innings, striking out four and walking two.
Stark County Terriers 18O were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Daniel Krabill had the most chances in the field with eight.
Tome drove the middle of the lineup, leading T3 Warhawks with four runs batted in. The catcher went 1-for-3 on the day. Tome and Josh Jenkins each collected one hit for T3 Warhawks. T3 Warhawks had a strong eye at the plate, amassing six walks for the game. Henry Isaacs and Benjamin Pierce led the team with two free passes each. T3 Warhawks turned three double plays in the game.
Stark County Terriers 18O are at Wayne Baseball Club on Wednesday for their next game.
