Terriers Collegiate Clinches Lead In Seventh Inning To Defeat Ohio Elite

Stark County Terriers Collegiate 18O took the lead late in the game in a 6-2 victory over Ohio Elite on Saturday. The game was tied at two with Stark County Terriers Collegiate 18O batting in the top of the seventh when Shea Simmer drew a walk, scoring one run.


In the top of the fifth inning, Stark County Terriers Collegiate 18O tied things up at two.


Ben Mohler earned the win for Stark County Terriers Collegiate 18O. The hurler allowed one hit and zero runs over three innings, striking out five and walking zero. Drew Hallgren threw three and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen.


Matt Kahn took the loss for Ohio Elite. The hurler went three innings, allowing four runs on five hits and striking out four.


Griffin Malick started the game for Stark County Terriers Collegiate 18O. The fireballer lasted one-third of an inning, allowing two hits and zero runs while walking zero Mitch Behrle started the game for Ohio Elite. Behrle allowed two hits and one run over three innings, striking out three.


Lane Marshall went 2-for-5 at the plate to lead Stark County Terriers Collegiate 18O in hits. Stark County Terriers Collegiate 18O didn't commit a single error in the field. Cole Maley had the most chances in the field with ten.


Ian Ash led Ohio Elite with two hits in three at bats. Ohio Elite was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Bradley Goodyear made the most plays with eight.
