Terriers Collegiate Grabs Lead In Sixth Inning To Defeat Dugout Baseball Club

Stark County Terriers Collegiate 18O stole the lead late and defeated Dugout Baseball Club 3-2 on Saturday. The game was tied at one with Stark County Terriers Collegiate 18O batting in the top of the sixth when John Bufford threw a wild pitch allowing one run across the plate for Stark County Terriers Collegiate 18O.


The pitching was strong on both sides. Stark County Terriers Collegiate 18O pitchers struck out eight, while Bufford sat down ten.


Stark County Terriers Collegiate 18O fired up the offense in the second inning. Jared Burick drove in one when Burick singled.


Dugout Baseball Club knotted the game up at one in the bottom of the third inning, when Dominic Prevesk's sac fly scored one run for Dugout Baseball Club.


After Stark County Terriers Collegiate 18O scored one run in the top of the seventh, Dugout Baseball Club answered with one of their own. Stark County Terriers Collegiate 18O scored when Bufford induced Matt Hicks to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored. Dugout Baseball Club then answered when an error scored one run for Dugout Baseball Club.


Griffin Malick earned the win for Stark County Terriers Collegiate 18O. The bulldog allowed three hits and two runs over six innings, striking out six and walking zero. Lane Marshall threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. Marshall recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Stark County Terriers Collegiate 18O.


Bufford took the loss for Dugout Baseball Club. Bufford allowed six hits and three runs over seven innings, striking out ten.

Nick Rossetti, John Philippi, Garrett Slippy, Shea Simmer, Ben Lefebvre, and Burick each collected one hit to lead Stark County Terriers Collegiate 18O.


Dugout Baseball Club was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. John Susnik had the most chances in the field with ten.
