Terriers Collegiate Loses Lead Early in Defeat

Stark County Terriers Collegiate 18O fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 9-3 loss to Gladiators on Sunday. Gladiators scored on a single by Rohal/besserer, a double by Kellar, a single by Wolf/kardos, and a double by Matta in the second inning.


The Stark County Terriers Collegiate 18O struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Gladiators, giving up nine runs.


Gladiators pulled away for good with seven runs in the second inning. In the second Rohal/besserer singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run, Kellar doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs, Wolf/kardos singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run, and Matta doubled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs.


Cabell was on the mound for Gladiators. The fireballer allowed two hits and three runs over three innings, striking out three.


Jordan Shearer was on the hill for Stark County Terriers Collegiate 18O. The hurler lasted one and one-third innings, allowing three hits and six runs while striking out two. Heath Manson, Austin Beck, and Jermyn Brock each contributed in relief for Stark County Terriers Collegiate 18O.
