Terriers Collegiate Pitchers Rally Together To Shutout Ohio Elite

Stark County Terriers Collegiate 18O defeated Ohio Elite 3-0 on Saturday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Lane Marshall induced a groundout from Christian Isaacs to finish off the game.


The pitching was strong on both sides. Stark County Terriers Collegiate 18O pitchers struck out nine, while Ohio Elite pitchers sat down nine.


A single by Chaisson Marrs in the first inning was a positive for Ohio Elite.


Griffin Malick earned the victory on the hill for Stark County Terriers Collegiate 18O. The pitcher allowed three hits and zero runs over six innings, striking out nine. Marshall threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. Marshall recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Stark County Terriers Collegiate 18O.


Francisco Olivarez took the loss for Ohio Elite. The hurler allowed four hits and two runs over six innings, striking out seven.


Matthew McGrath, Nick Rossetti, Tim Orr, Shea Simmer, Ben Lefebvre, and Jared Burick each collected one hit to lead Stark County Terriers Collegiate 18O. Stark County Terriers Collegiate 18O didn't commit a single error in the field. Garrett Slippy had the most chances in the field with nine.


Ohio Elite was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Haedyn Csiszar made the most plays with nine.
