Terriers Fall To B2 Bulls In WRCL Championship Game

The Stark County Terriers stayed in it until the end, but the B2 Bulls pulled away late in a 3-2 victory on Sunday in the WRCL Baseball Champiopnship. The game was tied at one with the Terriers batting in the top of the seventh when Caleb Miller singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run. The Bulls came up with 2 runs in the bottom of the 7th to win the game.


The pitching was strong on both sides. B2 Bulls pitchers struck out ten, while Stark County sat down five.


Patrick Dinnen got the start for the B2 Bulls. The bulldog surrendered one run on one hit over five innings, striking out seven.


Connor Evanich was on the pitcher's mound for the Terriers. The righthander surrendered two runs on five hits over six innings, striking out five and walking one. Christian Harris threw one-third of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.


Miller went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Stark County in hits. The Terriers didn't commit a single error in the field. Nathan Grega had five chances in the field, the most on the team.


The B2 Bulls racked up seven hits. Joey Trivisonno and Stephen Osowski all had multiple hits for the team.
