Terriers Fall To Ohio Elite After Fifth Inning Score

The Stark County Terriers lost the lead late in a 4-3 defeat to Ohio Elite on Sunday. The game was tied at two with Ohio Elite batting in the top of the fifth when Peter Bambakidis singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.


The Terriers lost despite out-hitting Ohio Elite five to four.


Garret Odey got the start for Ohio Elite. The hurler lasted six innings, allowing four hits and three runs while striking out four and walking one.


Nick Vardavas was on the mound for the Terriers. The pitcher went four and a third innings, allowing four runs on three hits, striking out two and walking zero. Christian Harris threw two and two-thirds innings in relief.


Nathan Grega led Stark County with two hits in three at bats.
