Terriers Victorious Over B2 Bulls in Game 1 of Collegiate Matchup

Stark County Terriers 18O were victorious against B2 Bulls Collegiate 18O 5-2 on Saturday at Walsh University.
B2 Bulls Collegiate 18O got on the board in the top of the third inning after Devon Moris singled to center field, and James LaVigne walked, each scoring one run.
Stark County Terriers 18O captured the lead, 3-2, in the bottom of the third when Kyle Benson grounded out, scoring one run, and Braden Broom doubled, scoring two runs.
Brandon Bechtold earned the win for Stark County Terriers 18O. The southpaw gave up one hit and zero runs over three innings, striking out three and walking three. Samuel Hoffman took the loss for B2 Bulls Collegiate 18O. The starter went two and two-thirds innings, allowing three runs on two hits, striking out four and walking two. Dylan Rouse stepped on the bump first for Stark County Terriers 18O. The righty allowed one hit and two runs (one earned) over two innings, striking out one and walking three. Garret Odey collected the save.
Stark County Terriers 18O's Daniel Krabill, the number eight hitter, led Stark County Terriers 18O with two hits in three at bats. Broom and Krabill each drove in two runs for Stark County Terriers 18O. Stark County Terriers 18O didn't commit a single error in the field. Krabill had the most chances in the field with eight.
Hewitt Wilt, Carson Petrecca, Gavin McArthur, and Moris each collected one hit for B2 Bulls Collegiate 18O. Moris went 1-for-2 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in. LaVigne paced B2 Bulls Collegiate 18O with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, piling up six walks for the game. Wilt stole two bases.
