The Garrett Richards Memorial Scholarship Fund

Garrett Tyler Richards, 24, of Greentown, passed away, unexpectedly, due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident, on Friday, September 21, 2019. Garrett was a 2014 graduate of Hoover High School where he excelled in baseball, played 4 years during high school for the Stark County Terriers, and earned the opportunity to continue his baseball and academic career at Bethany College in West Virginia as a member of the Bison baseball team.

To help keep Garrett's legacy alive and honor his life, a group of friends decided to start the Garrett Richards Memorial Scholarship Fund to annually award a scholarship to a high school senior athlete in Stark County pursuing a degree after graduation.

All donated funds will go 100% to a deserving student athlete.
