Walk-Off Seals Win For Creekside Crocodiles Against College Terriers But Still Advance To Semi's!

The Collegiate Terriers fell to the Creekside Crocodiles 5-4 on Friday on the final play of the game. The game was tied at four with Creekside batting in the bottom of the twelfth when Tim Dunbar induced Stilliana to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored.


The Terriers captured the lead in the second inning. Seth Schroeder singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run.


The Crocodiles knotted the game up at four in the bottom of the eighth inning. Creekside scored one run when Richie doubled.


Laird was credited with the victory for the Creekside Crocodiles. He allowed zero hits and zero runs over one inning, striking out one and walking zero. Weaver threw five innings in relief out of the bullpen.


Dunbar took the loss for the Terriers. He went two-thirds of an inning, allowing one run on one hit, striking out one and walking one.


Aaron George started the game for Stark County. He surrendered four runs on 11 hits over 11 innings, striking out four.


Wentling started the game for Creekside. He allowed five hits and four runs over six innings, striking out six.


The Terriers racked up nine hits in the game. Seeker, Schroeder, and Jordan Hite all collected multiple hits. Schroeder and Seeker each collected three hits to lead the team.


The Creekside Crocodiles tallied 12 hits in the game. Zaluski, Richie, Perrolla, Stilliana, and Cardona each collected multiple hits for the Crocodiles.
