14U Defeats Perry, 6-2

The Terriers 14U beat Perry 6-2 on Wednesday!

They fired up the offense in the first inning, when Ryan Grega singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

Blayne Maurer got the start for the Terriers. He lasted two innings, allowing one hit and zero runs while striking out one and walking zero.

#9 toed the rubber for Perry. He surrendered three runs on seven hits over four innings, striking out four and walking zero. #12 and #28 entered the game from the bullpen, throwing one and one-third innings and two-thirds of an inning respectively.

The Terriers totaled ten hits in the game. Grega and Maurer all managed multiple hits. Grega led Stark County with three hits in three at bats. The Terriers also tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Grega led the way with two.
