15U Pounds Out 10 Hits In Blowout Victory Over Ohio Longhorns!

The Stark County Terriers 15U weathered a push by the Ohio Longhorns in the first inning where the Terriers coughed up three runs, but they still won 14-4 on Friday. The Longhorns big inning was driven by a single by Fletcher and an error on a ball put in play by Fuller.


Stark County got on the board in the first inning when Braden Broom doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run. The Longhorns knotted the game up at three in the bottom of the first inning, when Fletcher singled on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs.


Stark County pulled away for good with one run in the second inning. In the second Eberhardt induced Landon Waller to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored.


The Terriers notched five runs in the third inning. The big inning was thanks to doubles by Kaiden Mastri and Waller.


Dylan Patterson led things off on the pitcher's mound for Stark County. He surrendered four runs on three hits over four innings, striking out four.


Eberhardt was on the hill for the Longhorns. He went two and a third innings, allowing seven runs on six hits, striking out one and walking zero. Fuller, Dylan Ramey, #23, and Orosz each entered the game as relief, throwing one and one-third innings, two-thirds of an inning, one-third of an inning, and one-third of an inning respectively.


The Terriers tallied ten hits on the day. Mastri and Ayden Hall each had multiple hits for the team. Hall and Mastri each managed two hits to lead.


Fletcher led the Ohio Longhorns with two hits in two at bats.
