Aces Elite Runs Away With Early Lead In Victory Over 14U

The Terriers 14U fell behind early and couldn't come back in an 11-0 loss to Aces Elite on Wednesday.


The Terriers struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Aces Elite, giving up 11 runs.


In the second inning, Aces Elite got their offense started. Aces Elite scored one run on a stolen base.


A single by Christopher Maurer in the first inning was a positive for the Terriers.


DePerro was on the mound for Aces Elite. He surrendered zero runs on one hit over two innings, striking out three.


Grant Young was on the hill for Stark County. He allowed three hits and four runs over three innings, striking out three. Tony Wood and Maurer entered the game as relief, throwing three innings and one inning respectively.


Maurer, Blayne Maurer, Chase Duplain, and Zack Stokoe each collected one hit to lead the Terriers.


Pek went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Aces Elite in hits. Aces Elite tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Sedon led the way with three.
