Stark County Terriers 13U Complete Successful Week at Ripken Experience in Myrtle Beach

The Stark County Terriers 13U baseball team, coached by Kiko Martija, traveled to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, from July 12th through July 17th to compete in a tournament at the Ripken Experience.
The Terriers faced competition from teams across the United States and had an outstanding week, finishing the tournament with a 5-1 record.
On Tuesday, the Terriers opened play with a dominant 15-5 victory over the Harundale Rebels 13U from Maryland. They followed that performance with another win later that day, defeating the Expos Juniors from Florida by a final score of 11-8.
On Wednesday, the Terriers continued tournament play against the NEA Boardwalk Bombers from Massachusetts before taking on the Under Armour Legends Red 13U from Florida.
The Terriers battled throughout the remainder of the week, finishing with a hard-fought loss to the NEA Sandlot Surfers by a final score of 16-10.
The Myrtle Beach trip was a great conclusion to a successful season for the Terriers 13U program. The team finished the year with an overall record of 30 wins, 16 losses, and 2 ties, showcasing the hard work, dedication, and growth of the players throughout the season.
