The Stark County Terriers 15U lost the lead late in a 4-3 defeat to the Ohio Yeti on Saturday. The game was tied at three with the Ohio Yeti batting in the bottom of the sixth when Keon Johnson singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
Stark County lost despite out-hitting the Yeti's six to four.
The Terriers fired up the offense in the second inning, when Caden Goodwin singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run.
Curt Taylor toed the rubber for the Terriers. He surrendered three runs on three hits over four innings. Ty Sowers threw two innings in relief.
Kaiden Mastri led the team with two hits in three at bats.
