The Stark County Terriers 15U stayed in it until the end, but Aces Elite 15U Perretta pulled away late in a 4-3 victory on Friday. The game was tied at three with Aces Elite 15U Perretta batting in the top of the eighth when Luke Burick singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.
Kaiden Mastri started and lost the game for the Terriers. He went eight innings, allowing four runs on eight hits and striking out five.
Stark County socked one home run on the day. Ty Sowers went yard in the fourth inning. The Terriers racked up seven hits. Sealy and Sowers each managed multiple hits for the team. Sowers and Sealy all had two hits to lead the Terriers.
Connor Schoenfeld led the Aces Elite with two hits in four at bats.
