15U Takes A Tough Blow From Ohio Aces.

The Stark County Terriers 15U had a tough time generating runs on Tuesday, dropping their game with Ohio Aces 9-3.


The Ohio Aces fired up the offense in the first inning. Beeat grounded out, scoring one run.


The Terriers knotted the game up at one in the top of the second inning, when Caden Goodwin doubled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.


The Aces pulled away for good with six runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Eyssen doubled on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs, Sameer Sealy's wild pitch allowed one run to score for Ohio Aces, Anderson singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run, and Beeat doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.


Thumble was on the pitcher's mound for the Aces. He went six innings, allowing three runs on three hits and striking out seven.


Kaleb Corrin was on the hill for Stark County. He surrendered one run on one hit over three innings, striking out three. Alec Marran and Sealy entered the game from the bullpen, throwing two and two-thirds innings and one-third of an inning respectively.


Ayden Hall, Dylan Patterson, Goodwin, and Taylor each collected one hit to lead the Terriers.


Anderson led the Ohio Aces with three hits in four at bats.
