Grant S. Drives In Four Runs For Terriers 11U, But Force-Barsa Takes The Game.

The Terriers 11U fell 12-6 to Force-Barsa on Sunday despite four RBIs from Grant S. Grant drove in runs on a single in the first, a single in the fourth, and a single in the sixth.


The Terriers collected nine hits and Force-Barsa had 12 in the high-scoring affair.


Stark County got on the board in the first inning when Grant singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.


Force-Barsa pulled away for good with 11 runs in the second inning. In the second Danny singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run, Ian c tripled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run, Jackson doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs, Austin singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, MJ doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs, an error scored two runs for Force-Barsa, and Danny singled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run.


The Terriers tallied three runs in the fourth inning. The offensive firepower was led by Grant and Jackson H, all driving in runs in the frame.


Austin got the start for Force-Barsa. The hurler allowed seven hits and five runs over four and a third innings, striking out five.


Jayden C led things off on the pitcher's mound for Stark County. The righthander lasted one and one-third innings, allowing five hits and six runs while striking out one and walking one. Thomas W threw three and two-thirds innings out of the bullpen.


Grant led the Terriers with three hits in three at bats. Brayden E led with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with eight stolen bases.


Force-Barsa tallied 12 hits on the day. Danny, Austin, and Ian c each managed multiple hits for Force-Barsa. Danny went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Force-Barsa in hits. Force-Barsa stole five bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Elias led the way with three.
