Terriers 11U Loses Lead Early In Defeat by Willoughby Wildcats.

The Stark County Terriers 11U fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 15-5 loss to the Willoughby Wildcats on Sunday. The Wildcats scored on a wild pitch during Smith's at bat and a triple by McPadden in the first inning.


The Terriers struggled to contain the high-powered offense of the Wildcats, giving up 15 runs.


In the first inning, Willoughby Wildcats got their offense started when Smith lined out, driving in a run.


Willoughby scored five runs in the third inning. Reed, McPadden, Osolin, Minotas, and Koncar each drove in runs during the inning.


McPadden was on the hill for the Wildcats. The bulldog allowed three hits and two runs over one inning.


Grant S toed the rubber for Stark County. The righty went two and a third innings, allowing ten runs on nine hits and striking out one. Gabe A and Evan M entered the game as relief, throwing one and two-thirds innings and one inning respectively.


Evan went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead the Terriers in hits.


Willoughby scattered 11 hits in the game. Minotas, McPadden, and Reynolds each collected multiple hits for s. Demand led the Wildcats with three stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with 11 stolen bases. Willoughby was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Seifreit had the most chances in the field with eight.
