Terriers 11U Beats Steel Valley Expos By Eight Runs.

The Stark County Terriers 11U sailed to an easy victory over the Steel Valley Expos 10-2 on Saturday.


In the first inning, the Terriers got their offense started. Thomas W singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.


Stark County pulled away for good with five runs in the second inning. Teddy S homered on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs, Decatur M singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run, and Gabe A singled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.


Teddy was on the pitcher's mound for the Terriers. The pitcher surrendered one run on two hits over three innings, striking out one and walking one.


Dom led things off on the mound for the Expos. The pitcher allowed ten hits and eight runs over two and a third innings, striking out one. Brady threw one and two-thirds innings out of the bullpen.


The Terriers tallied one home run on the day. Teddy had a four bagger in the second inning.


Stark County tallied 12 hits. Grant S, Decatur, Evan M, and Teddy each had multiple hits for the Terriers. Decatur and Grant each collected three hits to lead the team. Decatur led with three stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with 11 stolen bases.


The Expos didn't commit a single error in the field. Jordan had the most chances in the field with seven.
