In Walk-Off, Terriers 11U Loses To WB Braves

Terriers 11U fell to WB Braves 10-9 on Thursday on the final play of the game. The game was tied at nine with WB Braves batting in the bottom of the sixth when Ayden O singled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run.


Terriers 11U lost despite out-hitting WB Braves nine to four.


WB Braves captured the lead in the first inning.


In the bottom of the fifth inning, WB Braves tied things up at nine when an error scored one run for WB Braves.


Terriers 11U scored five runs in the second inning. The big inning was thanks to singles by Thomas W, Gabe A, and Evan M and a groundout by Grant S.


Logan D was on the pitcher's mound for WB Braves. Logan lasted three innings, allowing six hits and eight runs while striking out two.


Jackson H was on the hill for Terriers 11U. The righty lasted one inning, allowing zero hits and five runs while striking out two. Evan and Jayden C entered the game as relief, throwing three innings and one inning respectively.


Gabe went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Terriers 11U in hits. Terriers 11U tore up the base paths, as three players stole at least two bases. Gabe led the way with five.


WB Braves stole 18 bases during the game as five players stole more than one. Truss M led the way with four.
