Late Score Costs Terriers 11U Against Louisville Leopards

Terriers 11U stayed in it until the end, but Louisville Leopards pulled away late in a 16-10 victory on Tuesday. The game was tied at ten with Louisville Leopards batting in the bottom of the fourth when Levi W grounded out, scoring one run.

Terriers 11U lost despite out-hitting Louisville Leopards eight to seven.

Terriers 11U got things started in the first inning. Terriers 11U scored one run when Gabe A singled.

Bryson H led things off on the mound for Louisville Leopards. The pitcher surrendered eight runs on four hits over two innings, striking out five.

Jackson H was on the pitcher's mound for Terriers 11U. The righty went one and two-thirds innings, allowing six runs on one hit and striking out six. Teddy S and Gabe entered the game from the bullpen, throwing two innings and one-third of an inning respectively.

Grant S led Terriers 11U with two hits in three at bats. Decatur M led Terriers 11U with four stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with nine stolen bases.

Louisville Leopards saw the ball well today, racking up seven hits in the game. Ryker Y and Carter T all had multiple hits for Louisville Leopards. Louisville Leopards tore up the base paths, as six players stole at least two bases. Carter led the way with seven.
