Terriers 11U Stymied By North Canton Vikings 11U, Lose 10-2.

It was a tough day on Friday for the Stark County Terriers 11U, who lost 10-2 to the North Canton Vikings 11U.


The Vikings 11U got things started in the first inning when Colt M drew a walk, scoring one run.


North Canton pulled away for good with four runs in the third inning. In the third Colt doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, Colton L singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run, and an error scored one run for the Vikings.


North Canton scored four runs in the fourth inning. The offensive firepower by was led by Ryan K, Colton, and Mason M, all driving in runs in the inning.


Brayden K led things off on the pitcher's mound for North Canton. The righthander allowed four hits and two runs over four innings, striking out two.


Grant S was on the mound for the Terriers. The pitcher lasted three innings, allowing five hits and five runs while striking out three. Gabe A threw one and one-third innings out of the bullpen.


Evan M led Stark County with two hits in two at bats. Brayden E led Terriers 11U with three stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with eight stolen bases.


Jayden C went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead North Canton in hits. The Vikings tore up the base paths, as four players stole at least two bases. Knoelle F led the way with five. North Canton didn't commit a single error in the field. Colt had the most chances in the field with five.
