Terriers 11U Can't Quite Erase 5-Run Deficit In Loss To Perry Panthers 11U.

Terriers 11U's effort to come back from down five runs in the sixth inning came up just short, as they fell 19-18 to Perry Panthers 11U on Saturday. Terriers 11U scored four runs in the failed comeback on a home run by Grant S, a passed ball during Camden D's at bat, and a double by Decatur M.


Terriers 11U was right in it until Perry Panthers 11U singled in the sixth inning.


Terriers 11U captured the lead in the first inning when Jackson H drew a walk, scoring one run.

Perry Panthers 11U knotted the game up at 14 in the top of the fifth inning, when the Panthers scored 2 runs.


Carter C led things off on the mound for Perry Panthers 11U. The pitcher lasted one inning, allowing nine hits and 13 runs while striking out one.


Gabe A led things off on the pitcher's mound for Terriers 11U. The pitcher allowed seven hits and seven runs over three innings, striking out one and walking one. Evan M and Thomas W entered the game as relief, throwing two and two-thirds innings and one-third of an inning respectively.


Terriers 11U hit one home run on the day. Grant had a long ball in the sixth inning.


Terriers 11U racked up 16 hits in the game. Evan, Gabe, Thomas, Grant, Jayden C, and Kalvin F all collected multiple hits for Terriers 11U. Gabe and Evan all had three hits to lead Terriers 11U. Terriers 11U stole 12 bases during the game as three players stole more than one. Thomas led the way with three.


Perry Panthers 11U had 18 hits in the game. Colten W, Lukus G, Evan F, Parker S, Carter, and Blake M each had multiple hits for Perry Panthers 11U.
