Terriers 11U Claims Lead In Third Inning To Defeat Brunswick Blue Devils

Terriers 11U stole the lead late in the game in a 16-6 victory over Brunswick Blue Devils on Sunday. Terriers 11U was down 6-5 in the bottom of the third inning when Jayden C doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.


Terriers 11U earned the victory despite allowing Brunswick Blue Devils to score four runs in the second inning. Nolan L, Ian B, Colton E, and Luke V each had RBIs in the frame.


In the first inning, Terriers 11U got their offense started when Thomas W singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.


Terriers 11U tallied six runs in the fourth inning. Terriers 11U's big bats in the inning were led by singles by Evan M, Teddy S, and Brayden E and a double by Gabe A.


Kalvin F was on the mound for Terriers 11U. Kalvin surrendered six runs on five hits over three innings, striking out three.


Terriers 11U totaled 18 hits. Thomas, Camden D, Jayden, Grant S, Brayden, Evan, and Decatur M each had multiple hits for Terriers 11U. Thomas led Terriers 11U with three hits in three at bats. Terriers 11U stole 16 bases during the game as five players stole more than one. Jayden led the way with three.


Luke went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Brunswick Blue Devils in hits. Brunswick Blue Devils tore up the base paths, as three players stole at least two bases. Luke led the way with two. Brunswick Blue Devils was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Luke had the most chances in the field with five.
