Terriers 11U Falls To Jackson Gold After Fifth Inning Score

Terriers 11U stayed in it until the end, but Jackson Gold pulled away late in a 12-9 victory on Sunday. The game was tied at nine with Jackson Gold batting in the top of the fifth when Mason grounded out, scoring two runs.


Terriers 11U collected seven hits and Jackson Gold had 12 in the high-scoring affair.


Terriers 11U took an early lead in the first inning. Evan M grounded out, scoring one run.


Terriers 11U notched five runs in the third inning. The offensive firepower by Terriers 11U was led by Jayden C, Evan, Teddy S, and Brayden E, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.


Landon led things off on the mound for Jackson Gold. Landon surrendered nine runs on seven hits over four innings, striking out four.


Grant S led things off on the pitcher's mound for Terriers 11U. The righty surrendered six runs on six hits over two innings, striking out one. Thomas W and Gabe A entered the game from the bullpen, throwing two and a third innings and two-thirds of an inning respectively.


Kalvin F, Jackson H, Gabe, Teddy, Brayden, Evan, and Camden D all had one hit to lead Terriers 11U. Terriers 11U tore up the base paths, as five players stole at least two bases. Brayden led the way with two.


Jackson Gold had 12 hits in the game. Warter and Henry each managed multiple hits for Jackson Gold. Warter led Jackson Gold with three hits in three at bats. Jackson Gold didn't commit a single error in the field. Mikey had the most chances in the field with seven. Warter led Jackson Gold with five stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with 22 stolen bases.
