Terriers 11U Takes A Tough Blow From Revere Minutemen.

The Terriers 11U struggled to get their offense going on Friday, getting easily dispatched by the Revere Minutemen, 13-3.


Revere fired up the offense in the first inning, when Arcanceli singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.


The Terriers evened things up at one in the bottom of the first inning. They scored one run when Grant S doubled.


The Minutemen took the lead for good with five runs in the third inning. In the third an error scored two runs for Revere, an error scored one run for the Minutemen, and Ramsey singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run.


Revere scored seven runs in the fourth inning. The big inning for the Minutemen came thanks to singles by Patton and Parmalee, a triple by Arcanceli, an error on a ball put in play by Ramsey, and a double by Lipstreu.


Falconer got the start for the Minutemen. The fireballer lasted four innings, allowing four hits and three runs while striking out seven.


Grant led things off on the hill for the Terriers. The righty surrendered six runs on five hits over three innings, striking out one and walking one. Gabe A threw one inning out of the bullpen.


Thomas W, Grant, and Evan M each collected one hit to lead the Terriers. Camden D led with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with six stolen bases.


Revere racked up ten hits on the day. Parmalee and Arcanceli all had multiple hits for the Minutemen. Parmalee went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Revere in hits. The Minutemen stole eight bases during the game as three players stole more than one. Ramsey led the way with two.
