The Stark County Terriers 15U scored seven runs in the fifth on its way to a 12-2 victory over Dugout Sports Complex on Saturday. The big inning was thanks to singles by Ayden Hall, Ty Sowers, Caden Goodwin, and Dylan Patterson and by Curt Taylor.
Stark County got things started in the first inning. Hall grounded out, scoring one run.
The Terriers scored seven runs in the fifth inning. The big bats in the inning were led by singles by Hall, Sowers, Goodwin, and Patterson and by Taylor.
Patterson got the start for the Terriers. He surrendered two runs on seven hits over five innings, striking out four and walking one.
Ben led things off on the mound for Dugout Sports Complex. He allowed seven hits and five runs over three and two-thirds innings, striking out one and walking zero. #19 and Nick Grandini entered the game from the bullpen, throwing two-thirds of an inning and one-third of an inning respectively.
Stark County collected 12 hits on the day. Landon Waller, Braden Broom, Braidyn Hartsoe, and Hall all managed multiple hit. Hall, Hartsoe, Broom, and Waller each managed two hits to lead the Terriers.
